Orion Gadgets has a new lineup of iPad cases, sleeves, and covers that look very interesting. This company makes a large variety of accessories for many different gadgets and phones. They are even already coming out with a new line of iPhone 4 cases as well. Their lineup for the iPad is diverse, good looking, and well suited to most tastes and needs. Also their leather cases are very reasonably priced, which is a plus after spending a good chunk of a paycheck on an iPad! Check out our review of what they have to offer…
This leather folio case for the iPad looks great in a business setting and will look great at a business briefing. Made from top grade soft cowhide leather and stitched with enforced stitching, this folio is designed to be durable and look good. It has a snug fit for the iPad, so it won’t move around too much while you have it inside, and the top flap closes with two magnetic studs (no ladies… not those guys from the Old Spice commercials…) It also allows you to plug in your headphones while the iPad is in the case, however you cannot charge the iPad while it is in the case. You can pick up the Orion Leather iPad Folio for $60.
This is a stylish and all around useful leather ipad case that opens like a book. The cover closes magnetically so it’s quick and easy to get to your iPad, and your tablet is safe and sound from scratches when not in use. It too is made from genuine soft cowhide leather and has the reenforce stitching for added durability. This is a tailored case designed to fit your iPad snugly with no wiggle room, so make sure you don’t have a silicone case on it that could interfere. Very professional and elegant looking, this is a good looking book cover for the iPad. The Leather iPad Book Case sells for $50.
Orion Gadget’s leather sleeve pouch for the iPad is a simple black leather sleeve made to fit the iPad perfectly. The white contrast stitching makes this black case really pop, and gives a subtle style that we really like. Also, you can charge the iPad while it’s in this sleeve if you put the iPad in upside down… a clever trick that we had not actually thought of doing yet! This trick probably works for most iPad sleeves though, but it’s nice to know. There’s not much else to say about this, it’s a minimalist sleeve that looks great. The Orion Leather iPad Sleeve sells for $55.
The most exciting case in the Orion lineup (in our opinion) is their black and brown leather cases. These cases have a few more features than the minimalist cases we’ve already mentioned, and a touch more in the style department as well. Made from the same high quality soft leather and reinforced stitching, these cases also have a plastic cover on the front to protect your iPads screen for added safety.
They have a built in stand on the back for viewing in landscape mode and also comes with a 360 degree belt clip for those of you who thought pocket calculators were trendy. The front cover closes with a button closure and also has room for credit cards and memory cards. We are fans of the two racing stripes in yellow or orange that give this case just enough flare to make it unique. You can pick up the Orion Leather Case for $50 and it’s available in either Black with orange racing stripes, or brown with yellow racing stripes.
