The iPad is revolutionizing the college textbook industry. Very soon, the days of carrying around 200 pounds of textbooks will be gone because they will all fit on your handy dandy iPad! Slowly campuses and publishers are seeing the light. Pad and Quill are on the ball as ever with their newly released College Edition iPad 2 Book Cover! If you’ve been ogling the classic moleskine look and real bookbound feel of Pad and Quill’s iPad cases, but haven’t ponied up yet, this is the case for you! Kick it old school on the campus with this sweet new iPad 2 book cover!
Ok, so maybe nobody actually “kicks it old school” anymore, but some styles are timeless and never go out of fashion. The moleskine style journal is one such style. It’s been a staple of artists, thinkers, and intellectuals for over a century. Pad and Quill embodies this timeless style, they are a company needs no introduction around these here parts. We are huge fans of their cases and you can read our Contega review and our Octavo review to see what else they have to offer for the iPad.

Classic Styling Meets A Campus BudgetNow the peeps and P&Q have released a version of their already famous iPad 2 book style case that will fit even a college student’s budget! The College Edition iPad 2 case looks stylish and is hand crafted with the same quality and love that they put into all of their cases. For half the price! Hand crafted in the great state of Minnesota, this case is made in the US and has the quality and pride that only a family run business can put into a product these days.
Truly the folks and Pad and Quill have separated themselves from the pack with their high quality iPad cases and their top notch customer service. We absolutely love the beautiful combination of the old world book binding, the warmth of the hand carved wood frame, and the quality and style that is unmatched. Really, we can’t say enough good things about their cases, and neither can anybody who’s ever purchased one! You’ll just have to see it for yourself!
The difference between this case and the Octavo and Contega is that it uses a sturdy canvas book bound cloth instead of the black leather on the outside, it does not have the magnetic on/off feature, also it is missing a cut out hole for the camera. But you will hardly miss those features since this case just oozes style, street cred, and it’s good for the environment too! It really is “all that and a bag of chips!” (bag of chips sold separately) This case is available in Evening Blue / Slate Gray, Burgundy Wine / Harvest Wheat, and Forest Green / Khaki Tan.
(That’s $10 off the normal price. Get it while it’s hot!)
This is one of the sharpest looking cases I have seen yet. It gives superior protection and has great looks. I also love that it comes in a very affordable price.
