The new Apple iPad tablet is one of those game changing devices which is sure to change the way content is delivered. While people may be on the fence now, the future looks very bright for the iPad and the many evolutions that will follow. Once users start learning how to navigate their digital world by touch, the mouse and trackpad just seem outdated and cumbersome. You can believe that the Apple iPad is on the forefront of a new digital revolution.

You can often judge the popularity and potential of a device by the amount of accessories that are released for it. While the iPad won’t have as many accessories stocking the shelves as the iPhone did coming out the door, there is already an excited buzz building from the accessory makers looking to deck out this one of a kind device.

Since this little Apple tablet is sure to find its way into the everyday life of many, its essential that it be dressed up nice and accessorized correctly. Though the iPad is still months from release, already companies have started jumping on the bandwagon and announcing new beautiful accessories. From stylish messenger bags to caches, companies and designers like Tom Bihn, Griffin, Scosche, Cocoon, and M-Edge have already announced full lineups of iPad accessories, iPad carrying cases, stands, and covers. With an estimated 1-5 million (yes, that’s a big margin…) iPads to be sold in the coming year, there is quite a frenzy for new iPad accessories according to business week’s latest article. Apple Insider also explains the high hopes many companies have for the iPad. There’s something to be said when even the Wallstreet Journal agrees that there is going to be a large demand and market for iPad accessories.

It’s not all cases, covers, and sleeves that are being announced as accessories. There are also bluetooth keyboards for the iPad that wirelessly let you write emails and compose documents on a full sized tactile keyboard. Not to mention the myriad of iPad bookstands for reading, iPad docks for keyboards and speakers, camera and tv connection kits, iPad styluses for the artists, and much more! More and more accessory companies are lining up their releases already, and you can bet that more swag is on the way to make your new iPad as unique as you are.

The iPad promises to be much more than a content delivery system and ebook reader. From an artist’s digital sketch pad to a CEO’s day planner, you can bet that the full potential for this device has yet to be realized by many.
