A Frame

Anyone who has used an iPad for anything more serious then browsing the web knows that an iPad stand is practically a requirement. Griffin responded by making the versatile A-Frame iPad stand. This stand was already featured on our best iPad stand round up part 2 but it deserves another mention here since it’s a solid product. The A-Frame is built out of aluminum which mates nicely with the aluminum styling of the iPad and also means it’s built to last. It accommodates portrait and landscape orientations and the legs can fold down for a kicked-back view, perfect for gaming or web surfing. With the legs extended the iPad is at a good angle for using a bluetooth keyboard for serious work. Soft silicone lines the aluminum shell and there is access to the iPad’s dock connection. Elan Passport

The Elan Passport is a great leather-like folio case available in either black or ecru (fancy talk for off-white). This great looking iPad case opens to reveal extra pockets and places for IDs and credit cards. The inside is lined with micro suede to protect against scratches and smudges. The 4 small corner straps means that the iPad can be used without having to remove it from the case, which is a nice touch. The whole thing is folds closed and is kept so by a tab. Elan Sleeve

The Elan Sleeve is Griffin’s take on the popular iPad Sleeve style. iPad Sleeves are best used if you already carry around a backpack, purse, or bag and want to carry your iPad without needed another piece of luggage. The outer shell is made of a synthetic material with a leather-like appearance and texture while the inside is lined with a soft micro suede. FlexGrip

No iPad accessory line-up would be complete without some sort of silicone skin and the FlexGrip is Griffin Technology’s take.
